AI and You

Welcome tonight. I'm, uh, Jim Perrin, and this is the Public Perspective. Now, tonight's, uh, focus of the perspective is, uh, the end of the world as we know it. Okay, everybody chimes in on the AI. Everybody's been talking about data centers and AI. All right, so I'm not an expert. I don't know really very little about any of it. I've, um, I didn't go to school for that particular thing, and I, I don't pretend to know anything what these guys know. But I'm gonna go ahead and give you my take because everybody else is giving you their take. What I can tell you is that the reason I'm leaning toward AI is a good thing and we need to keep going— the reason I'm leaning that way is because I'm a conservative Republican who loves this country, who loves the, the Republic of the United States. And the Democrats are the ones who are opposing all this. They are opposing everything. They're wanting this, this, and this. And I'm going to get into that. Like I said, in no way I'm any kind of expert on anything, but the Democrats have been using scare tactics to win elections for years and years and years. If you remember back in the Cold War days and the early days with Russia, and we used to— when I was a little kid, we'd get underneath our tables. We'd have drills to get underneath our tables at our school, and because a nuclear weapon was coming. Nuclear weapons. Nuclear— the development of nuclear weapons is going to destroy humanity. It's going to destroy us all. They're gonna strike and we're gonna strike. And do you remember the game— the WarGames, the movie with, uh, I think it was Matthew Broderick, back in— I believe it was in the '80s, might have been the '70s. I think it was in the '80s. The computer took control and whatnot. Joshua. Anyways, we've come a long way since those days, but we're still here. So nuclear weapons did not destroy us. Okay, so then there was in the '70s, after the nuclear age was, you know, we weren't scared anymore. The same people who were talking about global warming, those same stupid people, same ignorant people today, they were talking back in the '70s about where our pollution was gonna clog up the ozone layer and then we're going to block out the sun. We were going to have another ice age because, yeah, we had an ice age once upon a time in this world before man was here. But anyways, we're going to have another ice age and it's going to kill us all. Oh my God. Yeah, we didn't have an ice age. Okay. And you can go on and on. They, they, the Democrats create a boogeyman every election cycle. Whether it's Donald Trump and the threat to democracy or whatever. But what— look at Y2K was going to kill us all. Then it was global warming. Just in 2018, Ocasio-Cortez said that we had about 12 years to live on this planet. Well, it's been 8 years. We're still here, and she's freezing her eggs and they're doing goofy shit, and she's gonna plan on a run for 2028 for president. So I think she's— she knows she's full of shit. She didn't— she never thought that in the first place. That was a bunch of baloney. It was all pushed upon us, the Green New Deal and blah blah blah, her deal. Even in 2000, this stuff is on tape. These people are so stupid, they think that whatever they say isn't on tape. It isn't. Nobody saw this. They don't remember. Wrong. In this day and age, we do remember. We did see it on tape. You can go back and check her saying that. You can also go back to 2020. Bernie Sanders.

Madman Doomsday Bernie. He said in 2020, he said we have about 6 or 7 years left to go before the planet has got massive deaths and famine and blah blah blah. He just spewed out all this bullshit way back in 2020. Bernie, you said 6 or 7 years. It's 2026. It's been 6 years. I think we're gonna make it one more year, dude. I don't know. But now it's not global warming anymore. It's not climate change. That's not the big deal. That's not popular anymore because people got onto it and they said, uh, yeah, that ain't true. That's not true. The warmest temperature still recorded in, in the United States is back in 1935. You can check that too with your National Weather Service. If anybody has the balls to go ahead and check that stuff. So that was the warmest that this country's ever been, back in 1935, and we didn't die from global warming. So now they've got the new boogeyman, the new scare tactic— AI. Terminator's coming to your house, he's gonna kill y'all, he's gonna kill us all in our sleep. There's out of control Completely out of control. The, the— it thinks for itself. It's smarter than us. They're developing it and they can't control it. So these doomsdayers, like I said, Terminator's not going to hunt us down and kill us. But now the funny thing is, Sam Altman, for example, who's not the brightest person, and, and I, I think he's a genius. as far as the— he is CEO of OpenAI. He started it as a nonprofit organization, by the way. I think he's profited pretty well from it. But him and, uh, and, and, and how do you say it, uh, Anthropic. Yeah, that's the other. Again, I'm no expert on this stuff, but Anthropic and OpenAI, they are the 2 leaders. And they're both reaching out to the government, to Bernie Sanders and AOC. They're reaching out to them to go ahead and regulate them. What kind of business, what kind of business practice is that to your shareholders, to your, to your bottom line, that you reach out to the government and ask for help? What's that about? Really? The government can and run OpenAI better than Sam Altman? Really? I didn't. I thought he was smart. He says he's smart, but he's asking. But what he's really doing in— there's 2 things. He's looking for exemption. He's looking for not my fault, don't sue me, I asked the government. He's looking for an umbrella pardon is what he's looking for ahead of time in case this thing does go haywire. Now, will it go haywire? I don't know. Could it? Probably. Will it? I don't think so. I think we're smart enough to control these things, and I think people like Altman are, are smart enough to do that, and I think they know that. So don't panic just yet. We're not gonna die tomorrow from AI, I promise you that. But I think there's a bigger reason And they're looking for government to step in because I think they want to pull up the ladder, what it's called in corporate business. What they want to do is they want to stop any competition, any lower companies that are making strides in AI. What they want to do is they want to say, we're the 2 leaders, we're the top, we don't want anyone, and we want government regulations because they don't want any competition. I think they're forming a monopoly so they can control AI, so they can control all the things we see here. They control the internet. They control every single thing that we are allowed to see, that we're allowed to hear on every social media platform across this country. Now, that's my take on it. Okay. Now, I could be way wrong. I don't know. Again, I'm not an expert, but neither are you. These people are supposed to be the smart people, but what kind of company asks for government to step in? They say we need to be regulated. Nobody's stopping them from being regulated. No, the government's not saying you, you got to be regulated. Self-regulate yourself. If Ford Motor Company puts out a car that explodes after 20 miles, they're liable for it. Okay? They've got to build a safe product. That's what companies do. OpenAI and Anthropic are just 2 companies that are looking for protection because they are saying, we can't— we don't know if we can make it safe. The government's job isn't to step in and regulate them. The government's job is to make sure that they put out a safe product to protect us, to protect the United States of America, and protect the world from any kind of damage or harm that these things would do to us. That's the government's job. The government's job isn't to step in and take over companies and regulate them and tell them what they can or can't do. That's up to the, the OpenAI themselves. That's up to them to regulate themselves. Nobody's stopping them from doing it. And if they can't figure out how to regulate them, do you think that Bernie Sanders and AOC can? Oh yeah. What we need to do here— Ronald Reagan once said, and I, I hope I get his words right, He said the 9 most scariest words in the world are, I'm from the government and I'm here to help. I think you all know that I've always felt the 9 most terrifying words in the English language are, I'm from the government and I'm here to help. I believe that's the quote he said back, way back in the early '80s, and He believed in smaller government, not larger government like the Democrats do. So anyway, they also— these people also want a global pause, okay?

They want us to pause AI because we're in an arms race. Basically, it's an— it's the new arms race is what it is with China. We're— whoever controls this is going to control the future. Militarily and financially. Make no mistake about it. So, well, is it dangerous in parts? It could be. I don't know. Again, I'm not an expert on it. Neither are you. So stop listening to all the scare tactics. And let me, let me give you something real scary. I know for a fact, I know for a fact that if China takes and wins this arms race, we are in deep shit. That's the existential threat to us, not to humanity, but to the United States of America. You, you think if we sign a treaty with Russia and China and the EU, you think that China is going to honor that? They're gonna go, oh yeah, we're gonna slow down. They're not going to slow down. They're going to soar right past us, dumbasses. They're gonna Storm right past us. They're going to win this race, and then they're going to have the strongest military and the strongest economy, and they're going to run this planet. And that's their goal. So we've got to wake up and not, not take our— I'm sorry, but we, in my view, we need to put the pedal to the metal and keep this up. We have to win this race. And everything in the world that the man has ever invented, the nuclear war, the new whatever, machine guns, guns, bow and arrow, everything that mankind has ever come up with can be used for bad. Everything can be used for bad, but also everything can be used for good. It can be used like guns are bad. Oh, they're bad. No, they can use the You can use them to protect yourself and protect your family. So they're also good, because if all bad people had them and no good people had them, that would be catastrophic. Do you understand? There's good and bad. It's, it's up to the person. The gun, for example, is no better or worse than the guy or the woman or whoever, the person carrying it. It's no better or worse. It's a tool. Just like this is. AI is a tool. It's a tool that can benefit us in many, many, many ways. Can it hurt us? Maybe. Probably so. Can it get out of control? I hope not, because I hope people like Sam Altman are smart enough to put the guardrails up and keep the pedal to the metal so we win this. But I think they're involved with China. That's what I believe. The Democrats, and I believe these big tech companies. including Zuckerberg and, and Bezos and whatever, are really fake of it. And they're, they're really involved with China, is what I believe. And they believe in a New World Order and all this crap. I do believe what that's going on. And again, call me conspiracy theorist, I don't care what you call me, all right? I don't give a damn. But what I'm saying is, this is my take on, on AI. Now I want to go ahead and, um, talk a little bit about the data centers. Okay, here's a news flash: data centers were around for over 30 years. All right. Oh no, they're just— they're data centers. No, they're front and center now, but they— we have 5,400 data centers in this country. 5,400. All right, and they're giving you some fake news about that, and they're giving you some misinformation again because the Democrats are trying to scare people into this panic, like, oh, we'll come in and save you because we're against these data centers. They're going to run up your electric bill, they're going to ruin the water supply, they're going to do this, they're going to do that, they're going to do this. Let me tell you a couple little things. Data centers use less water, less water than an average golf course. That is a fact. I didn't make that up. You can check it. It's a fact. A golf course requires more water than a data center uses. Data centers recycle their water. Golf courses don't recycle their water. They use it. Now, Let me ask you another question. Within a 60-mile radius, how many data centers do you have in your 60-mile radius? Do you know? I don't know. Could be 2, could be 1, could be 3. I don't know. I really don't know. I ain't paid attention, I'll be honest with you. But I know how many, because I golf, I know how many golf courses are in my 60-mile radius. I can't even count them on 10 hands. Okay, there's hundreds of them, hundreds of them, and they all use more water than a single data center. So don't tell me that the data centers are going to destroy the water supply and pollute though. That's a bunch of garbage. It's a lie. It's false information. It's fake news. That's what the Democrats— that's what the media pushes on you. Now again, I have my questions about data centers. Don't get me wrong, I have my concerns about them. I'm not saying I don't. What I'm saying is don't be gaslit into these stupid things that just tell you one, that's the way it is, and just believe it. Oh, they— the moron Adam Schiff said so, so I believe it. Yeah. Let me tell you something else. The electrical grid. Some of the older ones that were built 30 years ago, they do— they, they did have a little strain on the electric grid in the communities. That is, that part is true, what the Democrats are saying. But they're saying that, but what's in reality today, the new data centers, the ones that have been built in the last 10 years, for example, they do not drain the electrical system. Matter of fact, Trump has got where they, they are starting to build their own electrical grids, which do not drain from the electric. They actually add their surplus that's left over, is put into the grid, making the grid in that area stronger, more powerful. That's what they're doing. They're also bringing thousands and thousands and jobs all across this country, well-paying, high-paid jobs, which is good for you, me, the economy. It is good for everybody. So again, do I have my concerns? Yes. Do I have my concerns about AI? Sure, we all do. But let's not just put the brakes on technology because we're all scared to death what's going to happen to to us because nuclear war didn't happen. Y2K— oh my God, we're still here. It was gonna— oh my God, do you remember the panic?

So all these little scare tactics, the, the, the Dems got to have a little boogeyman. That's the only way they can win elections and cheat by bringing in illegal immigrants and whatnot. Now that's serious stuff. I want to talk about something a little more serious, okay? I want to talk about the end of America as we know it. You've heard of The End of the World as We Know It? Great song, by the way. This is the end of America as we know it. The Democrats are up to their shenanigans, like with their scare tactics and, and whatnot, trying to steal another election, trying to gaslight the American people to be scared, stay home, and not get out and vote. We got to get out and vote. We got to defeat this communist movement. Okay. I mean, are things going great? No. Could Trump done a little bit better in the Iran war? I get it. Gas prices, food prices, they're up. Everybody's hurting a little bit, having to tighten their belts. I get that. We've been through this before as Americans. We've been through it Over and over again. But the difference is, in the past, we've stuck together. Now we seem to not be stuck together. We seem to be divided. One, people want to destroy us, and we want to— and they're trying to tell us that their way, that destroying this country is the way we got to go. We used to stick together as a nation, as a country, as Americans. Okay, don't let them fool you. Do not fall for this tactic, this scare tactic, this division that we're going through. Yeah, it's tough out there. I get it. I struggle a little bit, okay, even though I'm independently wealthy. But that doesn't matter. What I'm saying is gas prices, food prices, a lot of different things are going on, and I'm going to talk about the economy In a little bit. Okay, so we're gonna, we're gonna talk about that. But first, I want to tell you a little story about the American taxpayer. We are funding the war in Ukraine against Russia. I get it. Russia bad. Putin bad. Boogeyman bad. I got it. Okay, he's a bad guy. He's a communist dictator. He's a dickhead. I got it. Nobody likes him. I don't like him. You don't like him. We don't like him.

Got it.

So we're giving billions of dollars in weapons and money, which, by the way, Vladimir Zelensky can't even— he can't even, uh, account for all the money we've given him. He's, he's lost billions of dollars. He doesn't know where it went. I know where it went. That little left pocket. Yeah, he's not in the breadline right now. His kid— his kids— his fam— his country is. The families of those countries are in breadlines right now. They're suffering. Thousands and thousands of them are dying. And Russians are losing thousands and thousands. Neither one of these 2 morons give a shit about that. They don't care about their own people. Zelensky's just as bad as Putin. So we as taxpayers, United States citizens and taxpayers, we are funding, we are sending billions of dollars in weapons and cash over to Ukraine to help them fight Russia. Okay. All right, fine. 90% of Republicans do not support this funding. Oh, blank check. 100% of Democrats and about 10% of the people who hate Trump The RINOs, the Massies, the— it goes on and on. They want to go ahead and fund Ukraine because it's democracy. They're our ally. They've never been our ally, first of all, but let's not even get into that. But what we're doing is we're taking taxpayer money, we're giving them weapons and money. And they in turn are taking those weapons and they're destroying diesel facilities in Russia, refineries. Okay, 65%, like I said, of the diesel fuel comes from Russia. 65% of the world's diesel fuel comes from Russia. All right, so we are paying for the Ukrainians to destroy diesel refineries, so the world and the global economy suffers. And so it comes right back here to America, and the diesel prices are out of control here for the truckers. Truckers, guess what they do? They deliver products. They deliver food. They deliver services. They deliver all kinds of goods to this country. You've seen a trucker down the interstate. I know you have. They run on diesel. If we're paying, we are paying, taxpayers are paying to make our prices higher, to make our food prices higher, our gas prices, our diesel prices. We are financing the whole thing that is actually making us suffer. Now, that is bad policy. And perhaps Donald Trump's to blame for that. I'll— I'm not going to point any fingers. I'm just saying that we've been financing Ukraine for way before Trump got back in. The war started under Biden. And we've been giving them billions and billions of dollars since. And, and yeah, Trump hasn't really cut much off. He's, uh, critiqued it a little bit and cut back on in some areas, but we're still financing this and we— and they're still hitting these oil refineries, which, which is insane. Okay, so we're, we're doing our own thing now, doing our own destruction. But like I said about Zelensky, for example, he is no better than Putin. He's a thug. He goes out around hat in hand and collects any amount of money he can get from the U.S. Canada. Yeah, communist Canada. That's— they're signing all kinds of deals with, with Russia and, and China, especially China. They're cozying up to them right now because the prime minister's, uh, got TDS. And anyways, that again, besides the point. But they just gave Zelensky $350 million. Okay, like I said, hat in hand, here you go, buddy, do whatever you got to do. We're fighting democracy. Okay, that's fine. So I want to switch a little bit over to this country about refineries, just for an example.

All right.

Did you know, and I'll bet you didn't know this, but back in the '70s, the state of California alone, state of California had 50, yeah, 50 refineries to produce gas and whatnot from crude oil, diesel, and all our energy products that we needed. They had 50 refineries. You know how many they have today? 11. They have 11 refineries today. And now what can we do about that? There's a couple things Trump can do, okay? He can go ahead and, and declare, uh, what's called a National Security Emergency Act and It's non— he doesn't need Congress's permission or anything. He can do it as president of the United States, as commander-in-chief. He can demand that the— just the 2 refineries that Gavin Newsom, his newscum, as like— as Trump likes to call him, has shut down. He has shut 2 refineries down in the— within the last year. 2 of them. Why would he do that? He's one who regulates and taxes his— California's got the highest taxes. They have the highest regulations. They have the highest gas prices. They have the— it's ridiculous. And they refuse because of the Green New Deal to do all this stuff. So Trump can make California open a couple of refineries. Okay. That would ease the prices just a little bit. And, um, then Newsom would have a harder time with imposing all these gas— they have the largest gas tax in the country also, by the way. Gavin Newsom, the one who cares about Trump's rising up the prices. Yeah, okay, uh, sell it to someone else. Now, he also can, um, we— about 40% of all the diesel That we refine in this country. About 40% we export. We need to not— we need to stop for just a pause. We got all this money coming in according to President Trump, which I believe it, but I want to see it. But what he needs to do, and I hope somebody that's got his ears listening, What he needs to do— one, another thing besides opening those 2 couple refineries in California— what he needs to do is keep that 40% diesel fuel that we are exporting to other countries. They— I don't care if they need it or not. We need it. Okay. That would exponentially lower our diesel costs. In this country. If we were to keep our own energy, keep that 40% of diesel, that could lower prices, lower the gas pump for everybody, lower heating costs. It could lower all kinds of things. That's what— that's another thing he can do at his disposal right now. He is commander in chief, president of the United States, and he can do it tomorrow if he wants to. So I hope somebody— and I'm sure he knows this. I don't know why it hasn't been done. I don't pretend to know all the ins and outs. There's, um, I'm sure there's a million things that other people know that I don't know, I'm not privy to, and I don't have any information about. I'm not saying I'm smarter than them. I mean, I already know Elon Musk has a higher IQ than me. But I also know that I have a higher IQ than Adam Schiff, just for example. Yeah, Californian. Like I said, they, they— the biggest thing is we, we— there's things Trump can do to try to ease our pain a little bit. Now I want to talk about some good things, like GDP has been going up and up and up, and that's gross domestic product, and It measures the economy, how well we're doing, how bad we're doing, and whatnot. GDP is, uh, is set again to be this, this quarter here, the 3rd quarter, to be over 5%. That's huge. The economy is doing great. You don't know it because the media doesn't report it, and you're feeling it at the gas pump and at the food store, in the grocery store. I, I totally get it. I'm feeling it too. I understand that. But GDP at over 5% growth, that is huge. Okay. And poverty is at an all-time low, an all-time historic low in this country right now. The poverty rate is at an all-time low. That also is a fact. You can check that. The media won't report that, won't tell you that, but that, that is a fact. Okay, now we have net migration also for the first time in 70 years. Net migration. Nobody is— illegals are getting into this country. Okay, they're just not. We didn't have— we don't know where the borders are not open. Now, do you remember When they were open to all these people coming in. Now, you may not like ICE, you may not like their tactics, uh, whatever, that's your opinion again. But who are these people that they're grabbing and pulling out? The, the Democrats won't tell you about all the crime and all the people, the angel moms and dads that have lost loved ones. because of the illegal immigrants in this country. They don't even report it. They give zero seconds to most of the stories unless they're forced to because the backlash is so strong. Like I said, they— there, there's— crime is down in this country. It is, uh, way, way down from the, the Biden days. So there, there's so many things. going on that are positive for this administration and the country. We're, we're headed in the right direction. Are we feeling it yet? No, we're not. Trump inherited a problem, the inflation. And, and I know the— they just raised the stupid interest rates, and I don't think that was the right thing. Neither does Donald Trump, but Walsh thought that was the proper thing to do, and And he's the economist. So who am I to say maybe not? But I, I don't think that raising interest rates to protect inflation because inflation's not out of control. It was out of control under Joe Biden. The interest rates were out of control under the Biden administration. So when you get out to the polls and you vote, don't forget What it was like with the mass immigration, the millions and millions of people coming here with all kinds of diseases and whatnot. We don't even— we didn't even vet these people that are in this country right now illegally driving trucks. They got CDL licenses. They're killing people. They don't even know. They don't speak English. They can't read a road sign. You want me behind the wheel? Be 18-wheeler with no training whatsoever. I can't read the English vocabulary. I, I can't speak the language. I don't know what the, what the signs say. Really, is that what you want in this country? So we got to get out and get to the, to get to the vote. I want to tell you a couple other little stories about Democrats, just for example. Up in Massachusetts, and this is— you can check this too— there is a couple and their daughter is a 15-year-old daughter, and she was going to school and she was staying after school, and the parents were told that she was studying, tutoring, getting tutored in math.

Okay.

She was learning math. She was meeting with a guidance counselor, and he was kind of grooming her. And because he was trying to convince her that she really didn't belong in a woman's body, she was a man, she could be a man, and she could transition. When the parents found out about this, they were outraged. They're Catholic, and so they, they claimed their religious— this is all— you can check all this stuff. Up in Massachusetts. And they said, we don't want this, we're going to stop. The guidance counselor, he didn't take it lying down. He called social services, child services. You know what they did? The state of Massachusetts went and took the child away. That's legal kidnapping as far as I'm concerned. They took the child, the 15-year-old girl— I call her a child, I guess she's a young woman, whatever you want to say— but they took her away, all right? And the parents haven't been able to get her back, and they're fighting this legal battle, okay? Because they were abusive, because they didn't let her become a man, become a guy, and have mutilation on her body. This is a true story. Okay, these are the Democrats are. Now, you know where she's being housed right now by the state? In an all-boys dormitory. An all-male dormitory. That's where the young girl is being held right now. That's where they're housing her. This is also a very, very true story. Now, this is who the Democrats are. Is that what you want? Is that really what we want in this country, these radical ideas? And I'm going to give you one more example before I tell you a couple other things. In Utah— let's go across the country— in Utah, yeah, where Charlie Kirk, University of Utah, where Charlie Kirk was shot and killed and assassinated. Just, uh, back on the 10th, it was his 1-year anniversary of his assassination, of his death. And there was a little whore, moron, white girl on, and she had a little birthday cake. Happy Kirkaversary, or whatever. She was celebrating the death, the death, the killing, the murder of Charlie Kirk.

That's disgusting by itself, but that's what the liberals are. That's who they are. Okay, we don't do that. We don't do the violence. But she did that, and a couple of students, one woman and one guy, uh, also students at the University of Utah, they went ahead and posted it, reposted it, and said her name and whatnot, and that what's happened to the Utah students and Utah State, and they kind of stuck up for Charlie Kirk. Well, guess who the school board is investigating? Yep. The 2 people who stood up to somebody celebrating the death of another human being. Yeah, they took exception to it and said, what's wrong with these people? And now they're being investigated, and they could go to jail. They could— they could be prosecuted. They could lose their scholarships, their, their standing at the school. They could be expelled for sticking up for humanity, for decency. That's who the Democrats are. That's who they are. They are radical, sick people. I never wanted to say it before, but when Donald Trump— when they wouldn't stand for all these fallen angel moms and stuff that lost their kids during, during that one, when Donald Trump had the thing. And now I sound like Joe Biden, but they wouldn't stand. None of them stood. and cheered. And that's who they are. They're vile, vile people, and they don't care about America. They care about power. Um, if you don't get out and vote, if you don't get out and vote in November, let me give you a little bit of advice. If you're not going to get out and vote, if you're a Republican, you need to get out and vote. If you're not going to get out and vote, Don't come running to me, but I got some advice for you. You better arm yourself. You better arm yourself because if we can't beat them at the ballot, okay, and by, by the Constitution, by voting, we can't win the election. We can't win there. We're going to have to fight them in another way. We're going to have to fight them on the streets. So my advice to you is to arm yourself if you're going to stay home and not vote, because they'll be taking over a lot of things that you take for granted to this day.
