Transcript: Check Your Source: Fake News, Fort Hood, and the Fight for Election Integrity
Episode #16 · · 51:43 · Listen to this episode
Jim Perron opens with a call to "check your source" — questioning where people get their news and advice from — before diving into a wide-ranging commentary covering media bias, historical propaganda, the Trump/Biden records, campus politics, and election integrity. In the second half, he reacts to breaking news: the planned execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan, a New York ICE shooting, Senate races in Michigan and Texas, voter fraud claims in Illinois and Arizona, gas prices, and closes with shout-outs to new White House press staff and a tribute to Mike Ditka.
SPEAKER A[0:00]
Welcome, I'm Jim Perrin and this is The Public Perspective. Tonight we're going to talk about a couple things, but the focus of tonight's perspective is check your source. Check the source. Where do you get your news from? Where do you get your advice from? Where do you make your decisions? Do you get your advice from social media like Facebook or TikTok, or do you get it from your mom and dad? Do you get it from Your friends, your other family members? Do you get it from coworkers at work? Everybody gets advice on a variety of different things in their life that influences them and influences their decisions. So to make the best decisions possible, you need the best advice that you can get. So tonight we're going to focus a little bit on check your source, check the source. Where is the advice coming from? And do they have your best intentions in mind? So, um, I want to talk about— for, for just for an example, if you're getting advice from a financial advisor, for example, and let's say this guy has no house, no job, no car, no money, and you're taking advice from him. Okay, that's some kind of stupid. I hate to tell you that. Or you're taking relationship advice from a woman who's been divorced 3 or 4 times. Again, I'm not sure that's the best advice you can get from that person. Or you, you, let's say your relationship with your children, giving you parental advice. To— from another woman who's lost 3 or 4 kids to social services. Again, not too good of advice. So you got to check your sources, where your information is coming from. And if you're getting your news, for example, your political news, off of TikTok or Facebook or the mainstream media, sometimes it isn't always correct. And I'm not knocking any one source, and you can always believe what you want to believe, but you should follow— please follow different information and, and be curious and check it out, because you don't always know what the truth is and what the truth isn't. You don't always know that just because somebody tells you something. People who you're you're friends with on Facebook. You might not even know that person. They live in Seattle and you live in New York. They live in Texas and you live in Florida, wherever. You don't really know that person. Oh, that person and me get— we talk all the time. Okay. I'm just saying, check your source, make an informed decision, and, uh, and kind of know what you're talking about. So Now, because a lot of it's fake and a lot of fake news out there, and we all know Donald Trump coined the phrase fake news. You hear him say it all the time, fake news. He calls the mainstream media fake news, and sometimes he's correct, sometimes he's wrong, but sometimes he's correct. And most of the time, actually, because they seem to slant the news in their behalf, in their favor, to the— they're lib— it's a liberal media, let's face it. And anyone who doesn't know that is, again, living under a rock. It's a left-leaning liberal media. That's who ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, even Fox is starting to get a little TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome, in them. And that's, that's really sad because I've been with them all 30 years. They just celebrated their 30-year anniversary, and I've been watching them all along, and I've noticed, uh, they're starting to shift a little left a little bit. They're still better than the others, but they're— I'm a little nervous, a little worried that they're gonna, they're gonna shift on us. But getting back to the fake news, fake news has been going on a long, long time in this world, in this country. We go back over 200 years. Fake news. And back in the Revolutionary War against— when we became a country back in the 1700s, we were fighting the British, and there was all kinds of propaganda, which is another word for fake news. There was all kinds of propaganda going on that the British were overwhelming us, and the Minutemen— when— and they poured it on through the newspapers And they made it to demoralize the American people, even though we weren't America yet. But they did it to demoralize their side and keep us under their thumb. We, uh, it didn't work very good then because we ended up becoming United States of America, just 13 colonies at the time, by the way. You can fast forward in 1941. When the World War broke out, World War II broke out, um, there was Japanese— oh, and everybody knows about Pearl Harbor and whatever, that's what got us into the war. But there was a woman, several women actually, it's not a woman, but it was several women, Japanese women who were on radio stations overseas, and they would always come on with the news. And the Allies in the United States, soldiers called her Tokyo Rose. Like I said, it wasn't just one woman. It was several different broadcast women. But they would come on and say things like, Joe, GI Joe, your family is waiting at home and your little son is never going to see you again. You're getting killed. We're creaming you. And they really tried to demoralize the troops. And through propaganda, none of it was true. But again, they were trying their, their damnedest, um, to, to go ahead and, and demoralize our soldiers, our troops. Again, that didn't work. See, propaganda, it only works short-term, like in elections. When it's lies, it doesn't It works short-term. You can get people to believe that and vote a certain way. You can get people to believe that and stay home and not vote. You can get people to believe that they're losing and that there's no hope. You can do that very easily with propaganda. Okay? So what you need to remember though is that propaganda never works. It never works in the long run. It works in the short term, but it never works in the long run. Like I said, that's been going on for, for 200 years now. For example, we all know Donald Trump is a racist. We all know that he's a total racist Nazi, um, womanizer, whatever he is. I'll bet you what you didn't know— you probably know he's a racist, but probably what you didn't know— Is that back in the day before he ran for president, he, uh, he was good friends with Oprah Winfrey, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton praised him for the work he did with the African-American community. I can say African-American because that's what they used to say. Now it's the Black community. I don't know the politically correct term and I don't care. But the NAACP once gave him an award, okay? Gave Donald Trump an award for his work with the African American culture and people once upon a time. He actually got an award for it. They honored him and everybody loved him because you know why? He was considered a Democrat back then, and he was giving them piles and piles of money. That's what they really cared about, is piles and piles of money. When he switched over and came down that escalator in 2015, he stopped the piles of money coming into the Democrats, and he ran as a Republican, and they were just devastated and shocked, and they've hated him ever since. They've done every single thing they can to stop him, destroy him, and he's 80 years old and running stronger than me and you. So hats off to him for that. Um, now another thing about the propaganda, I want to tell you what a president said. There was a president, one of our past presidents, maybe our current president. I'll let you decide. I'm going to read the quote right here. I have it right here, and I'm going to read it. And this is a direct quote from a former president: you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking. Now, who do you think said that? Donald Trump? Nope, that was Joe Biden. I don't know, sounds pretty racist to me. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking, unquote. That's what Joe Biden said. He was Senator Joe Biden at the time. It doesn't matter.
SPEAKER B[10:04]
Uh, how are you, man? Well, good to see you. As you know, I've got a lot of support for you. That's weird. And more to come, I think. No, I've had a great relationship. In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking. Oh, gigantic.
SPEAKER A[10:32]
That's what he said, and they call Donald Trump a racist? Show me the quotes where he says anything even near, remotely near that. You can't. You can make it up, but you can't show me the tape. I have the tape of Joe Biden saying that. You cannot show me that Donald Trump said anything near that, as racist as that. And Joe Biden said other things too, and I'm not going to get into that because it's a— I'm just— Mike, I'm making a point. The point is that you should check the source where this stuff is coming from. When the media tells you that Donald Trump's a racist and Joe Biden's a saint, check the source, check the truth, what's really going on. And the problem is a lot of young people, Harvard graduates and Princeton and whatnot, they believe all this garbage. They hear it on social media. They're indoctrinated. I don't care what anyone says, they're indoctrinated from these colleges. These colleges are left-leaning. I'll call them communists. They hate this country. They teach kids to hate this country. They teach black kids that they're the victims. They teach white kids that they ought to be guilty because they're oppressors. That's what they're teaching. They're teaching socialism. They're teaching communism as a way— as if government ever made anything better. Socialism and communism been tried over and over again for centuries before, way before America was even founded or formed. Socialism and communism been tried and failed every single Oh, but wait, it's going to work this time. No, it's not. Take a look at Cuba. Take a look at what happened down in Venezuela. Now Venezuela is flourishing. We took Maduro out and he's going to stand trial and they are flourishing and they are trading with us, giving us oil, mineral rights, and we're pumping money in into their economy. and helping out the people of Venezuela. They're free once upon a— again. So don't tell me socialism works, because, because believe what you want. But anyway, now, like I said, with the Democrats, they're going to go ahead and every single thing— when they call Trump a racist, When they call Trump this, or he's doing this or doing that, it's because it's what they're doing. They're doing it. It's not what the Republicans are doing. It's all propaganda. Again, check your source. It goes all the way back. They flipped the script. It goes all the way back to the Civil War. It was the Republicans fighting the Democrats. The Republicans were the ones— For the slaves, for the black people. Republicans were fighting in behalf of the black people, okay? Democrats were wanting to keep them as slaves. That's a fact. You can— it's a historical fact. It is. No, no, I'm not getting you any, any false information there. It's a— it's an actual fact. Like I said, check your source because everything, every single thing the Democrats do, everything they accuse the Republicans of doing, that's what they're doing. They're telling you exactly who they are the whole time. They're telling you exactly who they are, what they're doing by, by accusing the other person, the other side of doing it. That's what they're doing.
SPEAKER B[14:34]
It's—
SPEAKER A[14:34]
I could say, please be educated. And you young people out there in particular, I don't know if there's any listening or not, but young people, get out there and educate yourselves and become informed. And whether you vote Democrat or Republican or independent, I could care less. That's your decision. You— we have this thing called freedom in this silly country, United States of America. And but get educated before you make decisions, before you go cast your vote. Make an intelligent informed decision. And again, however you decide, whatever, whatever side you fall on, if you're a Democrat or Republican or whatever, that's you. That's your choice. We have those freedoms in this country. We can criticize our political leaders. You can't do that in many countries. Most countries, as a matter of fact. Over in Europe, they put you in jail saying things like I'm saying right now. They come knock on your door and put you in jail. A woman— I was reading a story and she actually was on, um, Rav News. I watched that a little bit, and Real America's Voice. And I think she was on Steve Gruber, and she said that she went to a school, a school meeting.
SPEAKER B[16:14]
Okay.
SPEAKER A[16:16]
Um, and voiced an opinion, and they called her up and said— and asked her if she had any guns, if she had any mental problems. And they were serious. They— she was this close from going to jail for saying— caring about her kids. Be careful with this socialism and communism thing, because once the government gets their foot in the door They might not be able to get their leg back out of there. Like I said, be careful with that. Now, I'm going to go ahead and take a little break, but I also want you to know that when the Dems push this stuff, like I said, I probably said it before, but Sharia law, for example, all these young kids are I think I saw a survey said 40%, over 40% of young voters, young American voters think Sharia law is a good, is a pretty good thing, it's okay. Do you know what Sharia law is? Again, have you educated yourself on it? Do you understand what it means, Sharia law?
SPEAKER B[17:32]
No.
SPEAKER A[17:33]
Women, if you are voting for this, you have no idea what you are up against. If you vote for this, if it gets in, it is going to change your life dramatically. As far as these gays, the gay guys, hey, again, America is free. You can be gay and do whatever you want to do. Nobody criticizes your sexual preference. in this country, your religious, but Sharia law does. Um, there's only one religion in Sharia law, and there's no gays, and women behave. So be careful what you vote for. Be careful what you're, what you're letting in the door, because like I said, um, you might not like these people once they get in your house, and you might not be able to get rid of them. Kind of like, uh, Kind of like a bad relative who comes over and stays with you just for a couple weeks, and a year later they're still there eating all your ice cream. Yeah, not good. So be careful what you do. Make an informed decision. That's all I ask. Learn the facts and then make your decision and vote how— vote however you want, but learn the facts, please. It's so important that you educate yourself. Because the colleges that you're going to, the schools, even the high schools now you're going to, are not educating you. 6th graders can't even add 6 by 14. They have no idea what that is. They write it down on a piece of paper and they come up with the wrong answer 20 times out of 19. So it's— educate yourself, please. So I'm gonna go ahead and, um, and take a break right now. And that's our first segment. When we come back, we're going to talk about some current events and news, what's going on. But also, I wanted to tell you about artilleryteaccompany.com. Okay, Artillery Tea Company is a veteran-based company, and they have a variety of different teas. I think I told you last week, check out their pumpkin spice. That's artilleryteaco.com. Go check them out. And we have a new sponsor as well. It's Frontier Coffee Company. It's— you can go to frontiercoffee.com. Okay. And that's, uh, also a great company. And, um, let me read his name right. Nate Dressel. He's a former special, uh, ops guy. He's a Special Forces Green Beret. A guy who did several tours over, over in Iraq and Afghanistan and whatnot. And he's formed his Frontier Coffee Company. And they have a variety of different coffee packaging. You can try little samples that just cost a couple bucks, or you can try big amounts and different— they have a lot of different variety of things to do. Their new one, and I like this one, that right now I mentioned the pumpkin spice. The payload spice is what Artillery Tea Company calls theirs for their, for their tea. The Frontier Coffee Company has got one called Trumpkin Spice. It's in line with pumpkin spice, but it's called Trumpkin Spice in a tribute to the president, our president of the United States. So anyway, check that out at artilleryteaccompany.com. artillerytco.com and frontiercoffee.com. Check those out and, um, I'll see you after the, after the break. Most people wake up. Some people prepare. Artillery Tea Company. Brew for the brave. We believe in you, Jim. We believe in the public perspective. Some debates take an hour. This one takes a sip. From the hills of East Tennessee, pumpkin cinnamon spice Yugg. It's all about perspective. Everyone says it's the best pumpkin spice coffee ever. They're right. Frontier Coffee Pumpkin Spice, $19.76 a bag. Use code PUBLICPERSPECTIVE for 10% off at frontiercoffee.com. Welcome back. I'm Jim Perrin and this is The Public Perspective. Now tonight I want to talk in the second half here a little bit about current events, and I think I'm going to do this, uh, every second segment from now on. I'm going to talk about what's popular, what's going on in the news, what's So what people are talking about across the country. I want to start with Pete Hegseth just announced that they were going to give— execute a guy, and I want to get his name right, Nadal Hasan. Nadal Hasan is the one who killed 13 people at Fort Hood and injured like 26, 30 more people. I don't know how many he injured, but he killed 13 people.
SPEAKER B[23:41]
Yeah.
SPEAKER A[23:42]
a mass shooting at a military base in Fort Hood. So Pete Hegseth just announced, I think that was in 2013 and around there, but Hegseth just announced that they're going to livestream the public execution. He's going to be, go before a firing squad and they're going to livestream it. So I thought to myself at first, I thought like a Democrat, I thought, that's terrible. Why would we do that? That's, that's, we're no better than Iran if we're going to do that. Um, but then I, I listened to some people, um, that I trust and some people, um, that I, that I take advice from. And a lot of them told me, Jim, here's why. And a, a good friend of mine, she said, Um, he wanted to be a martyr, so why not oblige him? Why not go ahead and accommodate him? Let him be a martyr all he wants. Okay, so he wanted to be on TV and famous and whatnot, stand for his cause. I, I, I don't know if I'll watch it or not. I probably will, to be honest with you. I probably will, just because, so I can say, yeah, I seen it, so I can be totally informed on the— in the situation. All right, these are the same people that are freaking out about the, the live streaming, okay? They're the same people, like I said, didn't mind Charlie Kirk getting assassinated, executed on television. Matter of fact, A lot of them celebrated it. They actually celebrated his death, said, oh, he had it coming, and whatever. Now they're freaking out. A guy who killed 13 people, military people, by the way, people who keep us safe, protect us. They're freaking out because Pete Hegseth is going to livestream it. Give me a break. Okay, like I said, I may not watch it. I probably will though. And again, I, I thought it was a terrible idea at the first, but after I've listened to all the other sides of it, um, like I said, he's a martyr, make him a martyr, that's fine with me. I have no, no problem with a public execution anymore because I've had a long time problem with people on death row. For example, they sit there for 30— like this woman. Who survived the, the 2 lethal injections in Tennessee. Uh, we talked about her last week. All right. Jesus, she was on death row for 30 freaking years. 30 years. Why? Why was she on death row for 30 years? You should be on death row for like 30 days. Why are we taxpayers flipping the bill? Paying for somebody for 30 years. This guy in 2013, what's that, 13 years ago? He shot up Fort Hood and killed 13 people. Why is he just now— and December 3rd is when they're going to hold the execution— why is he just now? Again, it should be 30 days. If you're guilty, you're guilty, and that should be the end of it. We shouldn't— I'm a big supporter of the death penalty. You have rights. Everyone has rights. But guess what? So does the dead people that you killed. They have rights as well. And their rights, they cannot no longer exercise their rights because you took their rights from them. So I do not have any sympathy for people who take other people's lives and take other people's freedoms and take other people's rights. I do not have any sympathy for you whatsoever. That's how I feel about the, that whole public streaming thing. And again, you don't have to watch it if you don't like it. Democrats, don't watch it. You sure love making jokes about— I'll Kirk you means you'll shoot him in the neck. It's a common joke going around by a bunch of thugs in blue cities. They always say, I'll Kirk you. They mean I'll shoot you in the throat is what they mean. It's disgusting and vile. And again, if you don't want to watch it, don't watch it. That's fine. You can have your own opinion about it. Again, this is a free country. You can have what you want, what you think about it, that's your business. So I'm going to move on to there and I want to talk about a couple of Senate races. Okay, first let's go up to Michigan. I watched the, uh, Mike Rogers against Abdul El-Sayed. Look, the socialist communist, basically, El-Sayed, um, he didn't sound too intelligent last night. If you watch the whole thing and you're honest about it, he really didn't meet the— he didn't— he doesn't come across as he understands the issues at all. He understands a lot about— he has a lot of charisma, don't get me wrong, and he's good at speaking. He's good at public speaking. These are skills he has. He does have them. He's got a lot of, like I said, a lot of charisma. Um, but he didn't come across as knowing the, the issues very well, in, in my opinion. But with that all aside, there's an article that came out, and El-Sayed, he, uh, he made a statement, and I'm going to read the statement. I have it right here, and I'm going to quote him. And, uh, I quote, this is what El-Sayed, Abdul El-Sayed, running for senator in Michigan, said. He said, this leader Has perpetuated war, violated our civil liberties, deported more people from our shores than any other president before him, and the list of failures goes on and on. Unquote. That's what he said. Now, of course, he's talking about Donald Trump, right? This leader has perpetuated war, Violated our civil liberties, deported more people from our shores than any other president before him. The list of failures goes on and on. Okay, that's Donald Trump, right? Just like in the first segment, no. You know who he's talking about? That comment was made in 2013. You know who he's talking about?
SPEAKER B[30:38]
Barack Hussein Obama.
SPEAKER A[30:41]
He was talking about Barack Obama. That's who he was quoting, talking about. So now Obama, the Messiah, is coming to Michigan to campaign with him and to help try to pull him across the finish line and, and tell people that socialism— he's not really a socialist. It's okay, Michigan, don't worry about this. He's not socialist. He's actually very moderate. Anyways, I just thought the hypocrisy there— the hypocrisy goes on and on with these people. So again, like we talked about in the first segment, check your source. Listen to— these people think that their posts, they can delete them and nobody can find them. My technician can find any post you ever did since the First day of the internet, friends, the first day of MySpace. He can go ahead and find whatever you said, okay? He's so smart on that topic. He— you can't— you cannot hide what you said at one time. Now, if you change your views, that's fine, but don't try to say you never said that or act like that's not my stance or beliefs or whatever, because again, Check your source and be educated on, on these things before you go cast your ballot up at— you people up in Michigan, you Michigandiers or whatever they call you up there. Now I'm gonna go down to, um, Texas and talk about that race. That's Ken Paxton against James Talarico, the one who says there's 6 genders and some other crazy things, but I won't Bore you with that, but I will tell you that as of today, Friday, I think it's October 9th today, he hasn't been seen or heard from by anybody, anybody in 13 days. 13 days, and he's running for senator. The midterm election is coming up very quick here in November. We're less than a month away. From election night, and for 2 weeks almost, he's been gone, not seen. Now, his campaign put out— his campaign manager put out a post, I guess, or a statement saying that he had the flu and was just not feeling well. Okay, I understand, but he's like a young guy. He's half my age. Young, young guy. Yeah, more than half my younger than me, and the flu's got him down for 13 days. I don't know. There's a lot of rumors going on, and I can't speculate because I can't verify any of them. I don't know what he's going through or what he's doing or what's going on. I have no idea. I won't pretend like I do. All I can tell you is that. If he's physically able, why can't he go and do like I'm doing, talk to you and put on a little Facebook post and say, hey, I'm not feeling too well, I'm, I'm under the weather, and I'll be back out on the campaign trail? I personally believe he's dodging. I personally believe he doesn't want to answer for his record. He doesn't want to talk because he thinks That hiding in the basement like Joe Biden did in 2020, he thinks hiding and being away from the people because he doesn't want to answer the tough questions that they're going to ask him. He won't debate. He won't answer the tough questions because I don't think when he says there's 6 genders, I really don't think he can name all 6 of them. I think he can only name a couple. And there's his dilemma, his problem when they ask him about it. He looks like an idiot because he can't answer his own beliefs. That's just my take on that. But, and it's kind of childish, but Ken Paxton put out a thing with wanted posters out there, missing posters out there, missing, dead or alive type thing. And it's kind of funny to me, a little childish by Ken Paxton, the Republican candidate. But Um, I, I wouldn't— the Democrats would do probably the same thing. So you can criticize that all you want, but I think both sides do it. So they take advantage of every situation. And that's politics. Politics is a dirty— it's a dirty— it's a dirty sport. Let's face it. Football is a tough sport. Hockey's a dirty sport. I played them both.
SPEAKER B[35:25]
Politics.
SPEAKER A[35:27]
is way more bloodier and way more dangerous than the other sports all, uh, combined. Now, I, um, another thing in the news I'm gonna go to, and that was, I think it was today, um, there was a shooting up in New York. Yeah, a shooting. ICE agents shot a guy, and let me get his name right. It's Oscar Bengal. If I'm— I don't know if I'm pronouncing it right, but it's Oscar. I'm pronouncing that right. Bengal.
SPEAKER B[36:00]
Belgal.
SPEAKER A[36:03]
Sorry. Oscar Belgal. And he is an illegal immigrant. He had a detainer on him to be removed from the country, and ICE went to pick him up, but New York released him. released him into the public. So that was a few months ago. Now he's committed other crimes including armed robbery. So he's a convicted felon and New York let him run the streets because they really care about safety and they care about their United States citizens and their people up there. Give me a break. So he's out and they corner him Track him down. He's in his car and they go to tell him to get out of his car and whatever, and he rams 2 law enforcement vehicles. He rams them, backs up, rams another one. 2 of them. Okay, so he aimed it at one of the ICE officers when he charged with his car. And he got shot. Now, he's not dead. He's gonna live. But the thing is, what the ICE agents didn't know and what the media is not going to tell you— they're going to spin it a different way— but his 6-year-old kid was in the car with him. His 6-year-old child was in the car with him, and he's putting his son That's where the Democrats should be outraged. They're outraged at ICE. They should be outraged that a man, a man put his kids, his kid, his 6-year-old kid in harm's way. I have a kid. There's no— I will die for him. I will protect him. That's my job. And that's, that's what the left should be outraged with. It's the gall of this guy. And shame on New York. If they would have just kept him in jail when he was arrested for armed robbery and turned him over to ICE and let him be deported, he wouldn't be shot. We wouldn't have had to go through this. Every time they release these morons, the Democrats, these moron judges who are supposed to be upholding our laws and keeping People safe. The government's job, their number one job, is to keep us safe. That is their number one priority, is to work for the American people and to keep us safe and secure. That is their number one job. That is their purpose. That is what they are here to do for us. That is their job. So Shame on the New York system up there and the, frankly, the stupid liberal Democrats because they're all stupid, ignorant idiots, assholes, jerk-offs is what they are. Because they let these people go onto the streets and then ICE has to go get them out and get them in your neighborhood. It's endangering ICE agents. It's endangering the person they're trying to pick up. And it's also endangering 6-year-old kids. Apparently, and it's endangering the whole entire community because of maybe crossfire. Someone else could have been hit. We could solve this just with a little cooperation. When people come in here illegally and commit violent crimes— armed robbery is a violent crime, I'm sorry. It means you put a gun up to somebody and said, give me this or I'll kill you. That's called armed robbery. That's a violent crime. I don't care what you say. Oh, he didn't shoot nobody. I don't care. It's a violent crime, period. Okay, so if you're gonna go ahead and let this guy back out in the streets, it's your fault. Your fault he got shot. Don't blame it on ICE or Donald Trump. It's your fault, stupid Democrats. It's your fault. Why don't you try upholding the law under our Constitution? If we don't have a law, we don't have a country. We're a law and order, law-abiding country. Our laws are what separate us from these third world countries. Sorry, but we have to have law and order. We have to have police. We have to have military. We have to have these things. That's the very fabric of our society, a civilized society. Yes, civilized society. There are other societies. And And they're not all civilized. We are a civilized society. We better start damn well acting like one. That's all I'm going to say about Oscar Belgaal. Okay, one more thing in the news tonight I want to talk about is the election integrity. We talked about it a few weeks ago. Um, Illinois, the Dems are out. The Democrats are They're out cheating again. I already started the cheating, already started. Uh, Democrats in Illinois under J.D. Pritzker's watch, he thinks he's going to be president. Good luck, dude. They went ahead and suspended early voting today, and because they cited problem with the mail-in ballots and the, the voter machines were broken, the voting They have early voting there. They've already started voting in Illinois. And they, um, so they stopped those so they could probably get in there a bunch of their illegal ballots and whatnot and, and discard the, the Republicans that were out voting. I think that's what's going on there. But, you know, we'll find out more about that because at least, um, at least we have, uh, people there at these polling stations now at these voting booths and whatnot. And people think that Trump is sending people in there. That's unprecedented. We've had people monitoring voting monitors ever since our elections began, ever since they began. Hundreds of years, over 100 years ago anyways. So Somehow this is unprecedented and new that they— and they're telling you that they have armed guards there and armed Navy SEALs, and that's a lie. Take your camera and find an armed Navy SEAL at one of these voter places, voting booths. Go ahead and find one. Show me. Watch. I'll watch it on TV and I'll say I was wrong. There is armed guys there willing to shoot anybody who votes Democrat. Yeah, show me the video of that one. I want to see it because they're saying it, but I don't see it. So maybe check your source. Maybe it's not true. Maybe they're lying. Imagine that. That's one thing. And then another disturbing thing about the voter election integrity is, uh, Apple. Apple just, um, the— for I don't know what it's called. Apple users, Apple anyway. Apple just put out a thing called a personal personal voting data voting app. Okay. The problem is that it leans totally to the left. It gives you all the liberal information. It doesn't give you any of the conservative information. So I don't know a lot about it. I haven't checked into it that much, but I saw it discussed earlier. And again, I don't, I don't know the whole story of that, but I do know that Apple is trying to, in my opinion, putting their finger on the scale of justice once again. It's kind of sad that an American company would be, would be even doing that, but. I guess, um, no wonder why Tim Cook stepped down. But, and there's one more example of the election integrity deal. Just a couple, I think it was Monday, Tuesday, maybe in Arizona, Maricopa County, one of the largest counties, maybe the largest county in Arizona whatsoever, just went ahead and they sent one of the guys that with the election board, he sent out 3,000, 3,000 ballots to illegal immigrants, okay? Oh, and then he said, whoops, didn't mean to do that, those are— that was improper. He's keeping his job. And guess what? They decided now that they're already sent out to the illegal immigrants who shouldn't be voting in our Elections, we're gonna now that they're out there, we're just gonna go ahead. If they send them in, we're gonna count them. So nothing to see here. No harm, no foul. So again, it's the the Democrats. They cannot win an election unless they cheat. They are they find new and I'll give them credit. They find new and creative ways to cheat. Cheat all the time. That's what they do. They're dirty, rotten, and they cheat. So, I mean, I, I try to be bipartisan. I really do. I try to look at the other side, but there's no other way to look at this stuff. I mean, like I said earlier in the first segment, they— everything they accuse the Republicans of doing, they are doing. Donald Trump's not suppressing, suppressing any voting. The Democrats are taking away your vote by cheating, by throwing away ballots that were breaking down. They know Republicans go to the polls more often. The mail-in ballots primarily come from Democrats. They know this. So all of a sudden, in almost all over the country, On voting day, the election day, the machines malfunction and they can't get— because they know that 90% of those votes are Republican. So don't tell me that they're not cheating. They accuse Donald Trump of cheating because they're cheating. Um, that's all I'm going to say about that. And then one, one more thing I wanted to bring up is Hey, that's my dog Cooper. I, uh, have not gotten my Hassan Piker shock collar yet, but I ordered it in the mail. Just kidding. He's a little, uh, little Cavalier King Charles, and he's a wonderful, beautiful dog. Um, and I love him. I'll introduce you to him next week. I'll have him on my lap for you. Um, but one more thing I want to talk about. And a few weeks ago, maybe 6 weeks ago, I paid $4.98 or $4.89 for a gallon of gasoline. Okay, now I know gas is high and, and prices are high. Food is high. I understand that. But yesterday I paid $4.89, it was. 6 weeks ago. Yesterday, $2.19— $3, I'm sorry, $3.19. So it went from $4.89 to $3.19 in just the last 6 weeks. Donald Trump said he's going to bring the prices down, and I'll guarantee you by March— and write it down, rerun the tape— by March of 2027, Gas will be down to $1.85. You watch, he'll have it right down there. Because regardless of what the stupid Iranians are saying, the Strait of Hormuz is open. It is flowing like just as good as ever before. And the United States military is in complete 100% control of the Strait of Hormuz. So anyone who who tells you anything different is a Democrat or a liar, and usually they go hand in hand. So now tonight's shout out I want to give, uh, Donald Trump just nominated a new press secretary. Her name is Katie Zachariah. She's, uh, she's a good person. I know her well, and, um, I want to give a shout out to her, and I, I know she'll do a good job. She hasn't accepted yet, but I I can't see her saying no to Donald Trump. And then another person who's a great Republican person is, I want to give, she's the assistant deputy press secretary, if you will, underneath Katie Zachariah. Her name is Benny Rae Harmony. She comes from actually from Real America's Voice, RAV News, if you will. She was on Studio Live from Studio 6B. She was a regular on there with those guys. And, um, she'll be missed on that show, but I'm sure as Deputy Press Sec— as, you know, Assistant Press Secretary to the White House, she'll, she'll do well there. So congratulations to her and Katie Zachariah. And I know they'll, they'll do a great job. I'm sure they will. And one more thing, I, I guess Mike Ditka died today, if you haven't heard. He was coach of the Chicago Bears when they won a Super Bowl, and I think in the 19— around 1985, 1986, I think it was '85-'86 season. So my condolences go out to the Ditka family. He was also a great player, inducted into the Hall of Fame, a great tight end. He actually transformed tight ends from what they were to what they are today. He, he helped with that transition. Making that position not just blocking but more of a receiving tight end. Mike Ditka, rest in peace, and, um, my hearts and prayers go out to the Ditka family. So anyways, that's, uh, that's it for tonight on the Public Perspective. And go ahead and check us out on, uh, Spotify and get us on Rumble. I think we're trying to get on, uh, a couple other ones too. Um, we're, um, anyway, we're exploring a lot of things. We're on Truth Social, we're on Facebook. Go follow us on, on Facebook if you will, or you check out our website, The Public's Perspective, and you can check us out there and, and, um, subscribe for just $8 a month and keep the show going. And, um, and, um, keep up the fight and try to remember, uh, To go ahead and, and make sure you check your sources and become educated. That's all. Again, whether you're Republican or Democrat doesn't matter to me. I mean, I'm gonna vote how I'm gonna vote, and you're gonna vote how you're gonna vote, but at least, at least do it informed. All right, thanks, and God bless everybody for watching. God bless America, and God bless Donald Trump, and, uh, I'll see y'all next week. We'll see you next week.
